We have established this web site in November 2015 in order to promote communication and understanding among the various branches of our extended family, to offer an easily accessible point for the knowledge about the people who built this extended family, to honor our ancestors and to keep them alive in our memories. The Rackl Extended Family consists of all persons, living or deceased, related to Robert and Ann Rackl, either by blood or by marriage, be it common-law or traditional; no restriction is placed on the degree of relatedness. We invite all such living relatives to actively contribute to this web site, either directly by adding data, or by supplying information to either Robert or Ann. This site is not public so that the privacy of living persons is protected, and so that nobody hesitates to provide data. In order to have access to this site, credentials in the form of a user id and password are required. You need not be related to anyone in this site in order to obtain user credentials; please send a request to the administrator of this site: robertrackl [at] rad129 [dot] net {this email address is intentionally not in easily recognizable format in order to discourage robots from asking for credentials.} Different user types are available depending on whether you wish to just peruse, or to contribute data; we very much encourage the latter!
